This log-and-stone style cabin is located high in the Blue Ridge mountains at around 3,000 feet elevation. It is in the same area as the Shenandoah National Forest and this property borders the park land. You will not see another human being for a half mile in any direction, but you'll see plenty of deer, bear, and wildlife!

Some notes about High Ridge: 

Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available, please feel free to ask!

Pets are welcome! Maximum of 2 dogs with a $50 pet fee per dog - No cats allowed, sorry!

PLEASE NOTE for November - March bookings: During these winter months, a four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle is required. While there are plenty of dry weekends during those months where a regular vehicle would be fine, you cannot know that in advance. Please take this warning seriously for those months. The rest of the year, regular 2wd vehicles are fine.

One king bed and two queen beds will comfortably sleep six and we have additional bedding for a max of 8. The kitchen offers gas cooking, a refrigerator with an ice maker, and everything you will need for a great meal.  If you'd rather cook outside, we've got you covered with both gas and charcoal grills.
